Dear all, due to many people currently travelling due to ISWC, we decided to postpone the next ontolex call to Friday 23rd of November, 15:00 CET. So far, I have not received any concrete comments on my proposal on how to model senses. I attach it again for convenience. Further, I think that our current discussion on how to model senses goes way beyond discussing requirements, so I will try to write down the requirements that we all seem to agree upon so that we have a sound basis to close the discussion on this requirement soon. I will provide a draft by tomorrow. The agenda for the 23rd of November is as follows in my view: - requirements on modelling senses (10 min.) -> Philipp to prepare - requirements on modelling lexico-syntactic patterns with examples (10 min.) -> Dagmar to prepare - requirements on lexical relations and paraphrases (10 min.) -> Philipp to prepare - requirements on valence and ontological mapping (10 min.) -> John to prepare - requirements on metadata (10 min.) -> Armando to prepare I would like that we reach a final agreement on these 5 requirements on our telco on Dec. 7. I will ask people to elaborate a final (slim) requirements statement on the basis of our discussion on the 23rd. I would like to start next year with the work on specifying the core model.
