Good point Stuart…

We actually had support for the FRBR model in ODRL Version 1.1
You could  indicate if the Asset was a work, expression, manifestation, or item.

I don't think it was used much (if at all) - but was there to try and capture the entire “digital content ecosystem”

You still could do that today with additional (non odrl) metadata about the Asset.
