Seems like those use cases totally fell off the radar :-) I rearranged the NFC working group wiki to reference the work done in the Device APIs working group, including the use cases and the APIs list. While I was at it I also added a reference Don Coleman's phonegap plugin, the new Tizen API, and the websocket-based implementation of the current draft. http://www.w3.org/wiki/Near_field_communications_%28NFC%29 Thanks, Luc On 07/09/2013 05:08 PM, Bourhis, Jacques wrote: > I totally agree, those use cases are still totally valid and very good starting point. > I will see with Luc to integrate them in current draft. > > Regards, > Jacques. > > -----Original Message----- > From: sylvain.lalande@orange.com [mailto:sylvain.lalande@orange.com] > Sent: Tuesday, July 09, 2013 4:41 PM > To: jacques.bourhis@linux.intel.com; public-nfc@w3.org > Subject: RE: Conf call followup > > Hi All, > > We gave use cases last year through the mailing list of DAP. There's no rigid format for use cases, it can be a list of items you expect the API to support, links to applications or emails in a mailing list... see [4] and [5] for example. > > Best Regards, > > Luc > > > [1] http://www.w3.org/2013/06/24-nfc-minutes.html > [2] http://w3c.github.io/nfc/proposals/common/nfc.html > [3] https://github.com/01org/cloud-neard > > [4] > http://www.w3.org/wiki/System_Applications_WG:_Telephony_API#Use_Cases_.28li > st_of_links.29 > [5] > http://www.w3.org/wiki/System_Applications_WG:_Security_Model#Use_Cases_.28l > ist_of_links.29 > > > > -- > Luc YRIARTE - OTC Software Engineer > INTEL Corp.
