RE: Conf call followup

I totally agree, those use cases are still totally valid and very good starting point.
I will see with Luc to integrate them in current draft.

Regards,
Jacques.

Hi All,

We gave use cases last year through the mailing list of DAP. Dave Raggett had summarized all in a wiki: http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/wiki/Near_field_communications_(NFC).
Do these use cases are not a basis for starting work? I think we could bring out the same today.

Hi All,

I know we are all busy with our regular business but it would be great if we can progress on use cases for our draft.
So please, don't hesitate to contribute the next 2 weeks to have a chance to review your proposals during our next Audio conf by end of July.

Thanks in advance for all your inputs.

Regards,
Jacques.

Hello All,

As mentioned by Luc, our goal for the next weeks is really to list all use cases we want to cover with the specification.
So please, don't hesitate to propose, review and comment as much as you can before the next Audio call by second part of July.

Regards,
Jacques.

Hi all,

Following last Monday's teleconference[1], I updated the NFC API draft[2] to add the powerOn / powerOff APIs, as well as the cloudeebus/websocket-based implementation[3].

Please feel free to post use cases to the mailing lists. There's no rigid format for use cases, it can be a list of items you expect the API to support, links to applications or emails in a mailing list... see [4] and [5] for example.

Best Regards,

Luc
