Sorry, it wasn’t meant to be flaming. I just wanted to outline it’s a world in the world not everyone has access to. I don’t think anybody implies this is the problem or anything, every country has a government which discuss about laws, that it’s how it works and there’s nothing wrong about that. What I meant is that it’s not because you’re the best persons at a time to do something that you will not do mistakes. I replaced the words by “in the small town of standards committees” which, I hope, is less controversial. There’s maybe a negative connotation to the words “walled gardens” that I didn’t want to convey. That’s why I ask you guys to review the blog post before posting, it is to clear issues like this one ;-) De : Tobie Langel Envoyé : mercredi 12 juin 2013 01:56 À : François REMY Cc : public-nextweb@w3.org "Walled gardens of the standards committees." Really!? Gratuitous flaming weakens your overall point. Which is a shame as the work you're doing is critical. WG would love to have more input from developers. The problem is enabling communication channels between spec editors, developers and implementors while maintaining a high signal to noise ratio. --tobie On Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 5:09 AM, François REMY wrote: > Now it's public, I guess the links should work :D > > > > > > -----Message d'origine----- > From: François REMY > Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2013 10:06 PM > To: public-nextweb@w3.org (mailto:public-nextweb@w3.org) > Subject: The Extensible Web Manifesto [via Extensible Web Community Group] > > Yesterday, it was made official that our group, by the intermediate of his > co-founders, co-signed a manifesto for a more extensible web.
