Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The WebTransport Working Group Charter [1] is hereby extended until 30
June 2026.

The mission of the WebTransport Working Group is to develop APIs that
enable data transfer between browsers and servers with support for
multiple data flows, unidirectional data flows, out-of-order delivery,
variable reliability and pluggable protocols.

The group has made progress and is about to reach Candidate
Recommendations; several implementations are in progress. This extension
enables the group to work on a new charter [2] while continuing to
advance its current deliverable.

More information about the WebTransport Working Group can be found on
its summary page [3], including information about group Chairs, Staff
Contact and instructions for joining the group.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Yves Lafon <ylafon@w3.org>, Staff Contact for the WebTransport Working
Group.

This extension follows section 4.6 of the W3C Process Document:
https://www.w3.org/policies/process/20250818/#charter-extension

Thank you,

For Philippe le Hégaret, VP, Technical Strategy,
Yves Lafon, Staff Contact for the WebTransport Working Group;
Xueyuan Jia, Manager, Member Communications
