Hello,

This is an advance notice that the W3C Team is currently working on a
new charter [1] for the Distributed Tracing Working Group.

The mission of the Distributed Tracing Working Group is to define
standards for interoperability between tracing tools.

The objective of the new charter is to continue the ongoing work on the
specifications, Trace Context and Propagation format for distributed
context: Baggage.

We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make
your comments public, you're welcome to raise issues at:
    https://github.com/w3c/charter-drafts/issues
or add a comment to
    https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/495

W3C Members may also discuss on the member-confidential mailing list
<w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>.

If you should have any questions or need further information, please
