[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The Audio Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 2024-12-21.

The Audio WG is developing a new charter [2] and feedback is welcome on 
GitHub [3]. This extension will allow the group to continue its work and 
publish updated drafts while the new charter is under development.

In particular, a new draft of the Web MIDI API is under development [4], 
which will update the previous publication [5].

More information about the Audio WG can be found on its summary page 
[6], including information about group Chairs, Team Contact and 
instructions for joining the group.
