[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The HTML Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 2024-12-06.

The goal of this extension is to allow the group to reconsider the scope 
of the HTML WG, and prepare a new charter.

The mission of the HTML Working Group is to give input to and bring the 
WHATWG HTML and DOM Review Drafts to W3C Recommendations.

More information about the HTML WG can be found on its summary page [2], 
including information about group Chairs, Team Contacts and instructions 
for joining the group.
