Hello, This is an advance notice that the W3C Team is currently working on a revised charter for the Federated Identity Working Group: https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/450 During the recent review of the charter, one suggested change was to add the Digital Credentials specification to the Federated Identity Working Group scope. This API enables user agents to mediate access to, and presentation of, digital credentials such as a driver's license, government-issued identification card, and/or other types of digital credential. This addition was also mentioned during the recent AC meeting. We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make your comments public, you're welcome to raise comments at: https://github.com/w3c/charter-drafts/pull/484 W3C Members may also discuss on the member-confidential mailing list <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>. A formal Advisory Committee Review for this charter is expected in late May. If you should have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact Simone Onofri <simone@w3.org>, Team Contact for the Federated Identity Working Group. This announcement follows section 4.1 of the Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2023/Process-20231103/#WGCharterDevelopment Thank you, For Philippe le Hégaret, W3C Strategy and Project Lead; Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications
