Hello, This is an advance notice that the W3C Team is currently working on a charter for the Web Identity Credential Working Group: https://github.com/fedidcg/fedidcg.github.io/blob/main/charters/Proposed-WG-WebIdentityCredentials.md The mission of the Web Identity Credential Working Group is to define APIs that allows websites to request a federated identity credential or assertion with the purpose of authenticating a user and/or requesting a set of claims in a compatible way OIDC or SAML. We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter.
