Hello, This is an advance notice that the Team is currently working on a charter for a Privacy Working Group: https://w3cping.github.io/administrivia/2023/charter.html The mission of the Privacy Working Group will be to improve privacy on the Web both by advising groups developing standards on how to avoid and mitigate privacy issues with Web technologies and by standardizing mechanisms that improve user privacy on the Web. This Working Group is also meant to replace the Privacy Interest Group, including taking over the horizontal reviews. We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make your comments public, please use GitHub issues: https://github.com/w3cping/administrivia/issues W3C Members may also discuss on the member-confidential mailing list <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org>. A formal Advisory Committee Review for this charter is expected in August 2023.
