Securing the Internet and WWW Community Group Proposed

The Securing the Internet and WWW Community Group has been proposed:

To further strengthen internet security, it is recommended that a new
working group is formed. This group would focus on bringing together
both existing and new methods, techniques, and standards for verifying,
authenticating, authorizing, and non-repudiation of persons, subjects,
resources, and contents. By doing so, users would have a better
understanding and could easily identify whether they are on a phishing
website of their bank or not. This would significantly improve internet
security and give users a greater sense of security when using the
internet.

Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and
people can join to begin work. Once launched, the group will no longer
be listed as "proposed"; it will appear in the list of current groups:
