Hello, We have extended the Privacy Interest Group Charter until 30 June 2023: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-privacy/2022OctDec/0007.html Best regards, Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Privacy Interest Group Charter extended until 30 June 2023 Date: Wed, 23 Nov 2022 16:40:33 +0800 From: xueyuan <xueyuan@w3.org> To: w3c-ac-members@w3.org Dear Advisory Committee Representative, [This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs] The Privacy Interest Group (PING) charter [1] is hereby extended until 30 June 2023. With the Privacy CG now handling incubation of some work that would otherwise fall within PING's remit and charter, PING is considering whether to somewhat narrow the scope of its charter. We are extending PING's charter to allow that discussion to resolve and in light of the consortium's transition to the new legal entity. Feel free to send input into the chartering discussion to PING's mailing list, public-privacy@w3.org. More information about the Privacy Interest Group (PING) can be found at [2], including information about group Chairs, Team Contact and instructions for joining the group. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Sam Weiler at weiler@w3.org. This extension follows section 4.5 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2021/Process-20211102/#charter-extension Thank you, For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Sam Weiler, PING Team Contact; Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://www.w3.org/2019/09/privacy-ig-charter.html [2] https://www.w3.org/groups/ig/privacy
