The mission of the Web Applications Working Group (WebApps WG) is to produce specifications that facilitate the development of client-side web applications. Following the proposal [2] to separate the Editing TF from the WebApps WG and to launch a new Web Editing Working Group, the WebApps WG plans to recharter the group. The current charter is hereby extended to accommodate the recharter process. More information about the group and information about participation can be found on its home page [3]. The group is currently chaired by Léonie Watson (TetraLogical) and Marcos Cáceres (W3C).
