Call for Participation: Web Payment Security Interest Group Charter Approved; Join WPSIG

Hello,

As a follow-up to this announcement, W3C approved the charter of the
Web Payment Security Interest Group today:
     https://www.w3.org/securepay/charter-202103.html

This group is chartered until 24 March 2023.

The mission of the Web Payment Security Interest Group is to enhance the
security and interoperability of various Web payments technologies. The
group pursues its mission by creating a forum for organizations to
define areas of collaboration and identify gaps between existing
technical specifications in order to increase compatibility among
different technologies.

Use the following form to join the group. The form will also instruct
you how to nominate participants:
     https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/113649/join

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C
groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people
from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that
meet the needs of the wider web community.

Current participants will remain in this group and are not required to
re-join.

Please note that FIDO and EMVCo will provide separate mechanisms for
their respective management of participation (e.g., how to join) and
communications for their Members.

The co-Chairs remain:
     Bastien Latge, EMVCo <bastien.latge@emvco.com>
     Christina Hulka, FIDO Alliance <christina@fidoalliance.org>
     Ian Jacobs, W3C (5% FTE) <ij@w3.org>

For more information about the group, see its home page:

Kind Regards,
Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing and Communications
