Best Regards, Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Accessibility Guidelines Working Group Charter Extended Date: Wed, 30 Oct 2019 19:14:23 +0800 From: xueyuan <xueyuan@w3.org> To: w3c-wai-gl@w3.org Dear members of the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group, The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group Charter [1] is hereby extended until 31 December 2019. As was announced on 11 September [2], a proposed charter for the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group was reviewed by the Advisory Committee. The results of the review have led to suggested changes to the proposed charter, and discussion is under way with commenters. Full resolution of these issues is not expected to be achieved before the expiry of the current charter. Therefore, the current charter has been extended. More information about this group and information about participation can be found on its home page [3]. The group is currently chaired by Alastair Campbell (Nomensa) and Andrew Kirkpatrick (Adobe). If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Michael Cooper <cooper@w3.org>, AG WG Staff Contact. This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2019/Process-20190301/#charter-extension Thank you, For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Michael Cooper, AG WG Staff Contact, Judy Brewer, WAI Director, Philippe Le Hégaret, W3C Project Management Lead; Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://www.w3.org/2017/01/ag-charter [2] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-new-work/2019Sep/0006.html [3] https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/
