Hello, This is an advance notice that a draft charter for a possible GPU for the Web Working Group is being developed following discussions in the GPU for the Web Community Group: https://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/grorg/admin/blob/wg-charter-draft/wg-charter.html Quoting from the early draft charter, the mission of the GPU for the Web Working Group would be to provide an interface between the Web Platform and modern 3D graphics and computation capabilities present on native system platforms. The main deliverable of the Working Group would be the WebGPU API [1], under incubation in the GPU for the Web Community Group [2]. Before starting the formal review we would welcome input and feedback on the charter by raising and/or commenting on the proposal on GitHub, where feedback is made public: https://github.com/gpuweb/admin/pull/15 Members may also discuss on <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Francois Daoust <fd@w3.org> or Wendy Seltzer <wseltzer@w3.org>.
