Dear members of the Service Workers Working Group,

The Service Workers Working Group Charter [1] is hereby extended until
31 January 2020.

As was announced on 19 November [2], a proposed charter for the Service
Workers Working Group was reviewed by the Advisory Committee. The
results of the review have led to suggested changes to the proposed
charter, and discussion is under way with commenters. Full resolution of
these issues is not expected to be achieved before the expiry of the
current charter. Therefore, the current charter has been extended.

More information about this group and information about participation
can be found on its home page [3].

The group is currently chaired by Jake Archibald (Google) and Jungkee
Song (Microsoft).

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Yves Lafon <ylafon@w3.org>, Service Workers Working Group Team Contact.

This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document:
https://www.w3.org/2019/Process-20190301/#charter-extension

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
Philippe Le Hégaret, W3C Project Management Lead,
Yves Lafon, Service Workers WG Team Contact;
Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications
