The following answers have been successfully submitted to 'Call for Review: Decentralized Identifier Working Group Charter' (Advisory Committee) for Digital Bazaar by Manu Sporny. The reviewer's organization supports this Charter as is. The reviewer's organization intends to participate in these groups: - Decentralized Identifier Working Group The reviewer's organization: - intends to review drafts as they are published and send comments. - intends to develop experimental implementations and send experience reports. - intends to develop products based on this work. - intends to apply this technology in our operations. Comments about the deliverables: This technology and the group has been in development for a long time and we're thrilled to support taking it to the next step -- international standardization! Comments about implementation schedule: We plan to deeply integrate Decentralized Identifiers into all of our core products (Verifiable Credential issuer, wallet, verifier, and blockchain platforms). We have also been implementing a Decentralized Identifier ledger (Veres One) and plan to take it into production soon: https://veres.one/ The US DHS and Customs agencies have also adopted the technology into their next generation systems: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/dhs-st-leveraging-blockchain-technology-improve-supply-anil-john/ There are multiple Proof of Concept and Pilot programs either completed or in progress that utilize this new technology, so standardization at this time is very appropriate.
