Hello, The W3C Advisory Committee received an advance notice today that the W3C team invites input on the possible new charter of Web Real-Time Communications Working Group. The current Web Real-Time Communications Working Group's charter is set to expire at the end of March 2018: https://www.w3.org/2015/07/webrtc-charter.html The Working Group intends to ask approval for a new charter to finish its current work on WebRTC and related APIs, as well as to explore potential additional APIs based on lessons learned from existing deployment of the technology. A draft of the new charter still under development is available at http://w3c.github.io/webrtc-charter/webrtc-charter.html We would welcome input and feedback before starting the formal review, planned for March 2018. Ideally, discussions should happen via issues raised on the charter's Github repository: https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-charter/issues Alternatively, discussion can also happen on the (archived [1]) mailing list of the Working Group: public-webrtc@w3.org. Members may also discuss on w3c-ac-forum@w3.org. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Dominique Hazael-Massieux <dom@w3.org>. This announcement follows section 5.2.2 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2018/Process-20180201/#WGCharterDevelopment Thank you, Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webrtc/
