The Mixed Reality Service Community Group has been launched:
  http://www.w3.org/community/mixedreality/

--------------------------------------------------

The Mixed Reality Service Community Group will work to define an open
protocol that provides a mapping between geospatial or virtual
coordinates and URIs.

Mixed Reality Service has numerous applications in areas as varied as
gaming, autonomous vehicles, health & safety, and affordances for
the disabled. More details can be found at mixedrealitysystem.org

This group will expand upon the work presented at WWW1 , and
re-introduced in a lightning talk at the initial WebVR meeting in
October 2016.
