The Brazilian Publishing Community Group has been launched: http://www.w3.org/community/brazilpub/ -------------------------------------------------- The purpose of the Brazilian’s community group is to promote and foster the discussions around digital publications in Brazil, stimulate the adoption of the EPUB 3.1 standard by publishers and developers. The local group will translate W3C documents, guidelines and specifications to minimize barriers with the non-native language and help in the understanding of the standards for a growing number of people. It is also the responsibility of this group, bring questions and pertinent feedback to W3C’s Publishing Working Group. The group will organize regular meetings and events to mobilize more and more participants in local debates and also as a way to stimulate the EPUB 3.1 adoption by the Brazilian publishing industry. -------------------------------------------------- To join: http://www.w3.org/community/brazilpub/join If you do not have one already, you will need a W3C account to join: http://www.w3.org/accounts/request This is a community initiative.
