The Schema Generator Community Group has been proposed: -------------------------------------------------- Schema Generator is an existing Free Software tool that helps generate valid XML Schema output. This output can be validated with W3C.org Schema validator. * This is, in effect, related to schema.org. However, I feel that the schema.org mailing list is geared towards ontologies, and discussing the features of the tool might be distracting for some. * The tool already generates a subset of valid schemas in microdata, JSON-LD or RDFa. It must be extended to add 'Roles' and some other features like repetitions. A major rewrite would be required for the generation of example schemes for proposed ontologies. The source code is available here . The goal of this group is to discuss specifications to improve the tool. -------------------------------------------------- You are invited to support the creation of this group: http://www.w3.org/community/groups/proposed#schema-gen Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as "proposed"; it will appear in the list of current groups: http://www.w3.org/community/groups/ In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account. To request one: http://www.w3.org/accounts/request If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org. Thank you, W3C Community Development Team
