The Schema.org - Health & Medical enhancement Community Group has been proposed: -------------------------------------------------- The focus is on improving the quality and nuance of the terms in Schema.org to maximize linkability, and to keep it as small, simple, and straightforward for the widest audience possible. Specifically: (1) For implementers: to maximize ease of linkage to existing, external, authoritative terminologies, ontologies, etc. (2) For providers: improve linkability with external sources of authoritative health information sources (NIH, PubMed, MeSH, etc.) (3) For patients: improve linkability and enrichment of digital content provided to patients from their healthcare providers (such as discharge summaries, lab results, etc.) (4) For researchers: Enhanced alignment with authoritative, scientific health data publishers. -------------------------------------------------- You are invited to support the creation of this group: http://www.w3.org/community/groups/proposed#healthschema Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as "proposed"; it will appear in the list of current groups: http://www.w3.org/community/groups/ In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account. To request one: http://www.w3.org/accounts/request If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org. Thank you, W3C Community Development Team
