Hello everybody, Luckily, this future working group was brought to my attention. I'm the chair of the Hydra Community Group [1-2] and one of the core-designers of JSON-LD [3-4]. After having read the proposed charter, I think there's quite a bit of overlap with what we are trying to do with Hydra, namely to enable the creation of powerful, interoperable Web APIs based on Linked Data principles. Due to my work on JSON-LD I, personally, might also be able to help with the development of a "transfer syntax for social data", especially considering that ActivityStreams 2.0 is *more or less* based on JSON-LD. I don't really have any concrete questions or proposals yet. I basically just wanted to bring Hydra to your attention and let you know that I'm willing to help. Of course, I would also like to find out whether Hydra is of interest for this group. Thanks, Markus [1] http://www.hydra-cg.com/ [2] http://www.w3.org/community/hydra/ [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/json-ld/ [3] http://www.w3.org/TR/json-ld-api/ -- Markus Lanthaler @markuslanthaler
