The Geometry API Community Group has been proposed: -------------------------------------------------- This group is to explore options and features around a native geometry API for operations on points, vectors, matrices, and so forth. Some features would include finding intersection points, centroids, shape area, and other common use cases, as well as specialized case for mapping. -------------------------------------------------- You are invited to support the creation of this group: http://www.w3.org/community/groups/proposed#geometryapi Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work.
