Dear Members,



Media and Entertainment IG is planning a talk on a proposal from Akamai for multicast receive API. This is relevant for video streaming. The Chair of MEIG proposed to extend their invite to Web & Network IG and we think it is very relevant for our IG as well.
MEIG has created a github issue track this proposal: https://github.com/w3c/media-and-entertainment/issues/44


The tentative date for this joint meeting is April 6th , at 14:00 UTC. The teleconference will be on Webex and details of the conference call will be shared by MEIG chair closer to the date of the conference call (one week prior to meeting).
