Just wanted to announce that a few of us from UNICEF will be presenting RapidSMS and our "mobile hacking toolkit" at the MiniBarCampKampala. There is alot of mobile phone related innovation happening in Kampala right now and hopefully this event will showcase some of it. Anyone in the area should come. Here is the official announcement. ============ MiniBarCampKampala is gathering to share and learn about mobile phone innovation happening in both Uganda and the international sphere. Please come and share your thoughts and innovations. The event will feature discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. Want to know how to connect a cell phone to a computer and send text messages? Curious about who the companies, students and people doing innovative work with mobile phones, IVR, SMS and computers are? Come to the event and find out.
