Dear All, Just few information for our teleconferences: - as you know Ken Banks and myself are co-chair of the group. so it makes sense to us that we will chair the call in turn. Next call, monday 18 august, will be therefore chaired by Ken who will send an agenda later this week - now with the discover of mibbit (thanks again to manrique !) everybody should be able to be an irc. Let me state again that this is essential for an effective meeting. There is now a direct link from the mw4d home page to mibbit See the section at http://www.w3.org/2008/MW4D/#telcos IRC is used for 2 purposes 1- for scribes to take note. It is essential again that we have a rotating scribe. I played the role of both scribe and chair the last two meetings and this is not possible to go on that way. So i took some time to write a documentation for future scibe. it is at http://www.w3.org/2008/MW4D/w3circ#Scribing Please read that carefully for next teleconference. I will again scribe next teleconf as Ken will chair, and so you could see exactly how the instructions in the page relate to real activity. For the next meetings, we will announce with the agenda who will scribe, based on the list at http://www.w3.org/2008/MW4D/w3circ#Scribe Those who have the oldest date (or no date) is the next scribe. people listed here are those who have attended at least once a teleconference. So again be ready to scribe. 2- in order to have efficient teleconference, it is also essential to maintain a queue and ask the chair to speak before speaking. We have tools for that, and that's very useful. Again this is based on irc. Till now we never used that, but this is useful. Check the documentation at http://www.w3.org/2008/MW4D/w3circ#Being before next call. This is again very important for effective meeting.
