c = chicito e - I'm honestly not sure what word this letter represents, but it's the letter used for the little finger in Ricardo Iznaola's "Kitharlogus" and other works/methods as well. Though few have "formalized" the pedagogical usage of the pinky, it is becoming more common in contemporary works. o = open (speculative). As @twxs mentioned, "0" is very common to represent open strings and should definitely be included. I don't fully know what Gutiar Pro's intent for "o" is, but it seems likely to me that they would intend "o" to mean "open" and not "pinky" otherwise it would cause confusion between the two if both were used in the same manuscript. x would just be speculation on my part as I've never seen them formally explained or used in practice, but I think it safe to presume "x" is a generic placeholder for lack of a better letter, unless "x" in this context is intended to use that "fingering" slot as an option to represent a muted string? Sorry this isn't more authoritative. "c" and "e" are the only ones I've seen actually used in practice, though the "e" acronym was never explained. -- GitHub Notification of comment by MusicnotesTomN Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/smufl/issues/34#issuecomment-212000942 using your GitHub account
