Hi Group, We have the opportunity to hold a CG meeting in Lisbon, Portugal as part of the annual W3C Technical Plenary / Advisory Committee (TPAC) Meeting. This is going to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, 19-23 September 2016. Our meeting would be a 2-hour meeting held on one of these days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. The available slots are: 8:30 - 10:30, 10:30 - 12:30, 13:30 - 15:30, 15:30 - 17:30. Why would you want to come? Good question! You'd want to come because the TPAC meeting is a worldwide venue for building open standards in many different realms, including but not limited to the Web. Having our CG meet there would be an opportunity to build relationships and bridges between our work and other related efforts in the W3C universe. For example, at TPAC one can connect directly with the people who are working on CSS, or digital publishing standards, or MathML. One can attend or observe other W3C working groups in action. TPAC is a really unique place, and a unique opportunity: to both learn and make things happen in the standards universe. It's a place where I think our work on notation can inform other exciting things going on, and be informed by them. If you are interested, please visit the Doodle Poll below and indicate what time slots would work for you: http://doodle.com/poll/tsznyq5p7xerqsnp Thank you! . . . . . ...Joe Joe Berkovitz President Noteflight LLC +1 978 314 6271 49R Day Street Somerville MA 02144 USA "Bring music to life" www.noteflight.com
