So you're removing the reference from each data category by moving it on a new one, and link the two implicitly by the scope they share... I guess that could probably work. For inline content, the thorny part is getting the tools to re-use the same <span> to list the tool references. But it's doable. mmm... I need to think more, but I'm starting to like it. -ys
