Thanks a lot, Pedro and Guiseppe. We discussed this in Dublin too. The main issue was: what kind of machine readable information would you define? In the example you have maxLengthCharWord, maxLengthCharWord, charRestricted. Is that all? How would you count the length of a word? How would the word counting work e.g. in case of e.g. Japanese or Chinese, which don't have delimiters? What would count as a delimiter for words ((#x20 | #x9 | #xD | #xA, taken from http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml/#sec-white-space )? Would we refer to http://unicode.org/reports/tr29/ for answers to these and other questions? I understand your requirement, but we need people to flesh it out in detail. Any volunteers?
