mlw-lt-track-ISSUE-44 (various-editorial-notes): Various editorial notes http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/44 Raised by: Felix Sasaki On product: Hi all, there are various editorial notes which I think can be removed or need some editing - taken from http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html [Ed. note: ARLE: The following needs to be updated to allow for the use of queryLanguage, since we can use CSS selectors now. Perhaps the correction is as simple as changing the first sentence to read “When using XPath values for ITS selector attributes (see queryLanguage for a discussion of alternate values), note that the values are XPath absolute location paths…” Would that do? Also, might we move this to the end of the section?] This can be removed, since Jirka has done the query language rewrite. Arle, can you confirm? [Ed. note: The following paragraph is little bit strange. What is purpose? Do we want to allow mixing of ITS 1.0 and 2.0 or not?] Yes, we allow that - it's the same like e.g. in XSLT, where an XSLT 2.0 stylesheet can import an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet. Do we need more explanation here? [Ed. note: Define how HTML5 link works with precedence.] Is that different than precedence than XML? [Ed. note: All selector related definitions has to be update to reflect queryLanguage] This is done via Jirka's rewrite, I think [Ed. note: All *Pointer attributes has to be updated in regard to queryAttribute] Done via Jirka's re-write, I think.
