Hi everyone,

Just picking up on the touch-target spacing conversation, I think it would also be worth checking the impact on things like toolbars, e.g. google docs / office365.

And, do we know what the impact is of the touch-screen heuristics? I.e. is spacing equivalent to increased size?
Would it be better to measure the distance between the centre of each control?

For example, I know that if I miss a target, but there’s nothing next to it, the heuristic will generally assume that was a hit. Measuring from the centre of targets might mean less of an impact on designs. Not sure if that’s easier or harder to measure though?

Sorry to butt in, but it’s been my main comment since this started and I haven’t seen it addressed anywhere, apologies if I missed it.
