Reminder for speakers at the MultilingualWeb Workshop

This message is for speakers at the Workshop next week only.

Dear colleagues,

In preparation for the Workshop next week, we would kindly request that you send a copy of your slides to me (arle.lommel@dfki.de) in advance of the Workshop. We will preload as many presentations as possible in order to facilitate a smooth flow at the Workshop.

We understand that many of you are currently finalizing your presentations, so if you cannot send them in advance, please bring them on a USB memory stick with you to the workshop so they can be easily transferred to the machine used for presentations. If you need to use your own computer for presentation, please still provide us with a PDF of your slides that we can make available for download after the meetings.

Even if you have sent your slides in advance, we would request that you bring them on a memory stick as a backup in case anything goes wrong.

We would also request that all speakers show up 10–15 minutes prior to the start of the sessions in which they will present (not their own presentation times, but the block in which they will present) so that we can verify that all materials are loaded correctly and so that we can discuss timing and any other administrative details in advance.
