Anant's argument seems logical - that the infobar/doorhanger method of applying for permission is confusing when it comes to embedded content. Would it make sense to say that GetUserMedia from an iframe can only work if an existing permission is active for that origin? (either a stored permission or a permission granted in the current session (whatever a session is))?
