getUserMedia() and Twain

I'm really interested in the capabilities of getUserMedia(). However, it doesn't seem to work with Twain or WIA based devices such as a scanner. So, if I'm building a business-line application, I may still need this over a webcam as I may not be as concerned about capturing a still image or video, but rather a TIFF or PDF from a scanning device.

Will we see Twain support?
