No plan that I'm aware of. At a SW F2F (with Microsoft, Mozilla and Google peeps in the room) there was a large collective sigh about `URL.createObjectURL(blob)` but concerns were raised that `URL.createFor(blob)` did not solve all of the problems so there was not strong vendor interest in pushing it.
