RE : Checking MA mapping examples

By the way, I had missed that you used Protegé. Although I used protégé in the past, I believe it is not the most appropriate for testing some of the constructs MAWG is using. This is why I moved to TopBraid.

I'll look at what Werner suggested but I am more suspicious than ever though on the results of these tests. Also I am not so sure Protégé is still using Pellet. What version was used? I hope above 4.x

Jean-Pierre

Dear all,

I have finished checking all mapping examples with Protégé and Pellet.

Here is my list of issues:

- Missing comment line containing creation and version information (cf. [1])

- In some cases, datatype values are represented as strings rather than xsd:decimal

- Sme datatype values include units, which should be removed (eg. Kbps)

- In 3gp-Example-v4.rdf the xml:base directive should be removed in order to import the ma ontology correctly

- According to Pellet, the EBUCore example is inconsistent. Possible reason is that at least one instance is a member of two disjoint classes (MediaResource and Collection).

- Cablelabs 1. 1 example is not RDF valid
I propose to discuss these issues during the upcoming F2F meeting.
