Hi all, sorry again for not being able to participate remotely. Reading the minutes I am not sure whether you discussed this: For some formats like XMP we have no open source implementation of functionality like setting metadata. That is, we cannot easily incoroporate references to (non-open source) implementations as a normative part of our API spec. I see various ways out of the problem: 1) Do not describe the functionality in question (e.g. setting of property X) for these formats 2) Do not describe low level API access at all, for all formats 3) Describe low level API access only for formats which are open, i.e. XML- or RDF-based.
