# MathOnWeb CG main meeting 2018-09-27

* Present: Joanie, Peter, Krista, Neil, Charle
  * Regrets: Dani, Arno
* Neil: no agenda?
  * Peter: with new setup, let's make it open mic night / catching up
* Joanie: I saw that personalization came up on the a11y meeting
  * Joanie: keeping separated what a user wants (personalization spec)
    * separate from implementation details
    *  Personalization TF was split off ARIA so I'm not sure if it has come
up there?
      * Charles: we're catching up on initial set of tasks
      * Charles: items like colors for dyslexia hasn't come up yet
* Neil: what's the CSS TF up to for TPAC?

    * we're focused on preparing 3-5 focus areas
    * with enough buffer if 1-3 are discarded quickly
    * thinking about aligning issues strategically so that we can dive
deeper when there's interest
    * E.g., baseline => math axis
    * e.g. stretchy constructions => css drawings / traditional characters
stacks  / houdini / variable fonts
      * could lead deeper, e.g., to css border improvements, browser zoom
improvements, font metric access,
    * focus on building a relationship for future work
  * Neil: any other updates from this week?
    * Peter: no meeting due to travel
