Joining the group

Hi CG members,

I could not join the call today unfortunately, but I wanted to share a
short summary of why I joined.

I'm a co-chair of the W3C Music Notation CG, and a software developer and
composer. I'm familiar enough with mathematics and formulas, but for me the
draw of this group is that it is going to be looking at some of the same
fundamental issues that music notation faces on the Web. In particular the
issues around semantic vs. visual representation and accessibility feel
very similar. So I hope to learn from what's happening here, and perhaps
even bring some ideas here from the work of the notation CG if they feel
valuable.
