I'm excited to announce that Igalia is organizing a MathML conference as part of their hackfest this May. The hackfest takes place in A Coruña, Spain (the northwest corner of Spain). It runs Monday, May 18th to Wednesday, May 20th. On Tuesday and Wednesday, those interested in MathML will have their own track. The track will include talks covering past accomplishments of the MathML refresh work, current status, and future plans for MathML. There will be plenty of discussion time and hopefully people will join in both coding efforts (e.g., polyfills), writing tests, and working on documentation/specs. If you are interested in participating, please visit the wiki page of the event <https://github.com/Igalia/webengineshackfest/wiki/MathML-Conference-2020> for detailed information. I look forward to seeing many of you in A Coruña. It's a pretty city and the conference will be a great opportunity to together and help move the refresh effort forward.
