Source format for MathML4 (full)

I am contemplating switching the MathML sources from xmlspec (as we have used since mathml 1.1) to respec (as used for mathml-core)

Note there are issues one could raise about the content of the spec (it's too big for example and not updated to take account of mathml-core) but here I'm just concerned with the format used to maintain the source of the document.
