Howdy Y'all, Building on the great foundation that Laura started, I've made some updates to the proposed SC for Interactive Element Contrast (Minimum) at https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/low-vision-a11y-tf/wiki/Contrast_%28Minimum%29 I've had a chance to review it asynchronously with Laura...and think it is ready for everyone else to take a look now. You will notice the proposed SC is quite detailed, because I want to make sure it can be tested consistently and objectively. It may be too much for one SC, but for now I'm just focused on writing proposed SC language, glossary items and testability methods. The part that still makes me stomach hurt is requiring disabled elements to have a 4.5 to 1 ratio. My gut tells me that is asking too much...but I just didn't have it in me to go into defining a "large versus a small disabled element" leading to pixel measurements for disabled controls...at least not yet. So...as your time permits...take a look...and let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. And Andrew...I think this will be ready for discussion at the next meeting (as the Agenda allows).
