It would appear there's an issue with planetrdf, which also used to do the
logging on #swig.  For example I wrote a blog post last week with updates
that normally gets syndicated out there.

My personal view is that the sem web is alive and well, and starting to eye
use cases that are very exciting.  Decentralized storage, social, payments
etc.

You might want to have a look at the solid project, which Im currently
working on

While still a bit buggy you can do cool things already like decentralized
chat, notes, bookmarking, social graph.  I'm going to port a chess game to
it hopefully in the next week.
