**** Apologies for cross-postings **** Dear all, I’m approaching you today to kindly ask for your participation in a survey investigating needs in relation to Text Mining. In the EU-funded project OpenMinTeD, we currently try to foster and facilitate the use of Text Mining technologies in the scientific publications world and beyond (visit https://openminted.eu for more background information). We need help from researchers in the text mining community like you to adjust this platform and its use cases according to the users’ needs. We kindly ask you to fill out a questionnaire which is targeted towards capturing requirements of text miners. This questionnaire is a bit long and answering all of the questions might take approximately 15 minutes; so, I ask you to be patient in completing the questionnaire. The questionnaire can be found at the following link: http://goo.gl/forms/4XwS8I7u5o We would really appreciate it if you could also forward this questionnaire to your colleagues or friends working in this field; so we can collect more feedback. If you have any questions about this survey please contact us at vivi.katifori@agroknow.com Thanks and kind regards, -- Masoud -------------------------------------------------------------------- Masoud Kiaeeha Doctoral Researcher Ubiquitous Knowledge Processing Lab FB 20 Computer Science Department Technische Universität Darmstadt Hochschulstr. 10, D-64289 Darmstadt, Germany tel: [+49] (0)6151 16-21677, fax: -5455, room S2/02/B106 kiaeeha@ukp.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de http://www.ukp.tu-darmstadt.de Web Research at TU Darmstadt (WeRC): www.werc.tu-darmstadt.de GRK 1994: Adaptive Preparation of Information from Heterogeneous Sources (AIPHES): www.aiphes.tu-darmstadt.de PhD program: Knowledge Discovery in Scientific Literature (KDSL) www.kdsl.tu-darmstadt.de --------------------------------------------------------------------
