STI Innsbruck is a research institute at the University of Innsbruck 
<http://www.uibk.ac.at/>with a current focus on scalable on-line 
communication. STI Innsbruck is developing the Semantic Communication 
Engine Innsbruck (SCEI, pronounced "sky") which includes methods and 
tools for highly scalable on-line communication supporting processes, 
such as yield, brand, and reputation management. We are currently 
looking for a

*Senior Developer and Leader for the Semantic Communication Engine 
Innsbruck*

(40 hours/week)

The person in this role will architect, design, and lead the development 
and product management of SCEI, a product for highly scalable on-line 
communication.She/he will work together with the business leader and 
product marketing to understand requirements, create a detailed 
architecture, identify required engineering resources and product needs, 
and supervise and work closely with the software engineering team in 
order to develop the product.

The annual gross salary for this full time position begins at:

EUR 56.000 (depending on qualifications)

Excellent knowledge and experience in software design and architecture

Strong desire and proven ability to lead a software development team

Good knowledge and interest in programming with Ruby on Rails, Java, 
JSON and database skills as well as experience in technical product 
management are a plus

Experience in building enterprise class and/or large scale web applications

Experience with Content Management Systems, i.e. Drupal

Successfully completed Masters in Computer Science, or a related area

Fluent in English
